I would argue pieces like this have more soul and emotion in them for many obvious reasons. One must never give up on themselves simply because they do not make the mainstream. I would argue that this track has more diverse potentially make it much more desirable. I actually look for tracks like this. 8-bit with a purpose. Be it BGM, movement oriented, or genre bending. This is what one would call a hidden gem. Do not give up on your creative gift.

Speechless (PM me please)

I don't know how you do it. Your voice, enchanting. Your inspiration, unrivaled. Your execution, flawless. The lyrics you have made are truly a testament, not just to you as a lyricist but to you as one who respects the work you are remixing. This, Laruto's Lament, and The Lullaby of Time are some of the most touching lyrical pieces I have found on this site. Thank you and never stop creating. You have a gift. But might I make a request of you. If so, please PM me.

AH HAHA! YEAH!

1:37 hits and 2:40 hits and the exact thing I exclaim is "AH HAHA HE GOT IT!" Fantastic work my man. You allowed for new melodies to shine. Brought out the rhythm I talked about, created two minimal and yet diverse enough movements that co-exist well with the overall feel in and short created, in my opinion much more than just, a second loop. It's what we like to call a game changer. A way to add a new possible movement. Versatility! This has potential in it for more than just basic BGM which is what I love about all your pieces. Parts of this could co-exist apart from the song, punctuate dynamic movement, possible uncontrolled cut scene. Dialogue. The best part about the way you set this up is that 5:00 hits and I think to myself. it's like when the overworld map changes, or when part two of a level or story begins. Like MMX4, where you can hear the clear definition of part one and part two of a level and yet they still harken to one another. Bravo man! You're back in the saddle! I'm seriously very proud of you man. Don't give up on yourself.

EliteFerrex responds:

I'm glad to hear your approval, Soullink. You're definitely my greatest confidant in all of this, and you have my gratitude eternally for your continued support; if it weren't for your encouragement, I might not have finished this song at all.

Thank you, not only from EliteFerrex, but from the man behind.

So you're gonna do it right?

I mean all the Donkey Kong Country games got GBA ports. Are you gonna make a gba version of diddy kong racing. Cause this sounds almost exactly like what it should. Fantastic!

EliteFerrex responds:

Hahaha, who knows? Considering that 8-bit is all I can make for the time being, I'll probably be making more 8-bits and redoing other songs, so it's possible I'll hit more from DK. :3

Once Again

You've done a fantastic job of creating an awesome mech track for my Soul Balance series. It's fantastically progressive and and the synths are very well chosen. It's amped from the start and the breakdown near the end when you add that next synth lead just made it even better. WONDERFUL!

EliteFerrex responds:

I'm glad you like it; I haven't heard from you in quite a while!
Shoot me an email sometime; I have to have you listen to some of my recent work that I can't post on here!

NT you've out done yourself!

You know what I love about this mix? It's original enough to stand out on it's own even if you didn't know it was a Megaman tribute. It's got that rush towards the ever ominous and looming odds that are against you with reckless abandon that all Megaman mixes seem to thrive off of. Builds well, uses appropriate synth, fades appropriately, and genuinely amps you up. Impressive. Bravo!

NemesisTheory responds:

I couldn't say that myself, it breathes megaman to me, but if you say so then I'm definitely gonna take your word for it :DDD

Thanks very much for the awesome rush of commentary! <3

Welcome to 21

Been 21 for a couple of months and I gotta say... it's gotten progressively more fun. Kind of like this little theme you've been toying with. I will admit that I'm still a sucker for the original but this version has a very different, more complex, driving edge that's growing on me. It's not so much a 3 as it's a re-mix or a version three. Still, Impressive. Love how things come together at 1:38. Great breakdown section. Oh, happy birthday my 8-bit inspiration!

EliteFerrex responds:

Alright! I was hoping I'd see you here. Still have you to thank for 8-bit Jungle and cave, after all. ^^

Might be submitting another in not too long, as someone requested that I make one for their flash game, but he has yet to get back to me about its preview, so I have yet to finish it.

Holy Crap you are still alive! lol

DrWaldo responds:

yes i am lol

You did remember!

I thought you forgot. I love it. It sounds so simple yet the emotions that come forth are left up to the imagination. Versatile for any scene. Good work.

BlazingDragon responds:

This wasn't for that scene specifically, lol. I'm still working on that... -_-
But thank you anyway!

RESPEKT

Respect for the mix, respect for the artist, respect for the original. I love how your mega man influenced style comes out in this juxtaposed to paragonx9's driving beats and and catchy repetitive rhythms. Good work.

EliteFerrex responds:

Thanks for comin' back again, Soullink. Nice to see a returning face to my work. =)

I do collabs and make music. Mostly I write stories. This is what I do.
