Here me out...

Disco train was all about being rev'd up! But what really drove the piece, aside from tempo, which you have, was the thumping and driving bass. You really gotta bring out the bass. Otherwise this track is really cool and kooky. It has the calliope circus feel, but the disco is all but gone now. It's been replaced by rock. This isn't a bad thing, I'm just saying let that bassline you got going on back there really thump things along. Lik at 3:00, I just wanna feel the bum bum bum bum along side all that great harmony and guitar ya know? Is that so wrong?

Ease in slowly...

Well it's nice to see your settling back in nice and easy. Let's see. There are some slight balance issues in the harmonizing voices. They almost feel like they're competing too hard instead of working together. The bass vibe in the back is awesome and driving and the tings and clangs on the cyber vibe are fun and help it move but I feel it needs something a bit heavier. There are a few points I felt could have really been stronger. Like 0:26 and 0:56. I feel like even a third lead voice mixing for a full chord would bring out more of a high point in the song since this is where the song really builds to. I just feel that certain parts where instruments fall out are almost too empty. Overall, considering that you are shaking off the dust and said that it's the first thing that really sounded good I can't complain. The harmonies are great. And the background is topnotch. Just feels a bit lacking.

Kirby keeps going and going and going...

You... you managed to improve the original. And the improvements are noticeable. I mean what really grabbed me when you released the first one was the build up to vegetable valley but you even made that better. The transitions are smoother. The track is bumpier, and the best part, where the first one was troll your friends sickeningly sweet beats. This one feels more balanced. Good going!

Welcome to 21

Been 21 for a couple of months and I gotta say... it's gotten progressively more fun. Kind of like this little theme you've been toying with. I will admit that I'm still a sucker for the original but this version has a very different, more complex, driving edge that's growing on me. It's not so much a 3 as it's a re-mix or a version three. Still, Impressive. Love how things come together at 1:38. Great breakdown section. Oh, happy birthday my 8-bit inspiration!

EliteFerrex responds:

Alright! I was hoping I'd see you here. Still have you to thank for 8-bit Jungle and cave, after all. ^^

Might be submitting another in not too long, as someone requested that I make one for their flash game, but he has yet to get back to me about its preview, so I have yet to finish it.

Holy Crap you are still alive! lol

DrWaldo responds:

yes i am lol

Hmmm

Impressive... with a little tech undertones this might just work for a menu screen of sorts for the project. I like it.

You did remember!

I thought you forgot. I love it. It sounds so simple yet the emotions that come forth are left up to the imagination. Versatile for any scene. Good work.

BlazingDragon responds:

This wasn't for that scene specifically, lol. I'm still working on that... -_-
But thank you anyway!

RESPEKT

Respect for the mix, respect for the artist, respect for the original. I love how your mega man influenced style comes out in this juxtaposed to paragonx9's driving beats and and catchy repetitive rhythms. Good work.

EliteFerrex responds:

Thanks for comin' back again, Soullink. Nice to see a returning face to my work. =)

Sucker for the original

As usual it's all about the runs when it comes to your boss battle themes. I'm still more of a sucker for the original but this definitely has a driving feel that keeps the pace up and the runs mixed with the triplet hits really keep things fresh. You really like the psssh sound affect for the boss battle thing huh? lol
Glad to see your still putting stuff up though. Made my night it did. lol

Based on the sampler...

Looking forward 2, 7, and 8 the most. I did like how Cannonball was sounding but not really how it started. I'm sure it will be even better when finished. This looks like your best Trap remix ever. Six has potential and even with the fade I found that 5 was missing too much of the melody to tell yet. I can't wait to hear these as finished products. Thanks for the preview. Once again, U.N.OWEN/Zero-Resurrected FTW!

I do collabs and make music. Mostly I write stories. This is what I do.
