Funny story

So before I got a profile for this thing I heard you ultimate kirby complation. It ofcourse ruled. But for some reason I really liked how the song started. The first intial build up is really cool for being so basic. It gives that running towards the horizon feel. And obviously works with vegetable valley since it was designed to transition into it. I too wanted just this track. Sure enough here it is with the explination that others wanted it too. Funny story.

Ever race a bullet train?

Here I go again explaining why I like a remix with the image it gives me. Ever race a bullet train on a hover board? Not all of us are sonic. Some of us need help. So our heroes have entered a race with a catch. Catch the train. That's only step one. Once on the train the race is still on. Let's face it, ya can't top a bullet train in speed. So once you reach the next stop ya gotta get off and finish the rest of the race. Fast paced fun and dangerous. It would make sonic proud.
Now for the cons...
I wish it was longer!!!
And it's pretty close to the original but definetly an improvement.

See you get it

This is great. It's fast paced and you can hear all the parts. It kinda chokes and staggers the flute pretty harshly at times but when the whole band comes in it sounds magical. I love this mix. Well done. I'm not entirely certain what the sound in the background is doing. It's just kinda flying around in runs and such and gets lost for me sometimes but this is a prime example of keeping the song together even at a fast pace. Good job.

Okay I have to do this

It has lots of great potential. Some tracks and instruments sound intentional but you sacrifice everything by making this song way too fast. I realize you probly wanted it fast but you sacrafice people actually being able to hear the song and what you did to it by doing that. For example I love the counter melody at 1:39 but you can barely hear it over all the clutter and rush. Some sounds also tend to feel thrown in there at parts. The already rushed turns in the song become muddy and well, there are ways of making a song fast without the clutter. In fact that great beat comes out again at the end during the fade out, but you never get to hear it. I'd love to see what you can do with it in the future if you do intend to do more with it.

Ever rail grind in a theme park?

Never got to play the game but have heard the original. That being said the original sucked. What you've done is put it in a new direction. That I really dig. Here's another wild card track. The begining is the count down for the big rail grind grand-px. Then 0:06 starts things off in a techno dome down hill grind into the futuristic theme park. Think Cowboy Bebop. You know the one with the invincible assassian with the mind of a child. Things get interesting with the inclusion of unwanted enemies at 0:40. The build up at 1:21 is when they start actually fighting while grinding towards the finish... then the song drops out suddenly and I loose everything. It's interesting because from a set the mood stand point the whole song is great. But from a race the rail grind the song shines from 1:21 on. Did I like it? Do you have to ask?

Yeehaw!

Wildcard

Time for the wild card that keeps bringing me hover board race tracks. That's right. This fast pace in your face song with the soft but still driving guitar, the clap hits, it's time for our heroes first hover board race. The building intensity really work. It's pretty much the driving force. I love it. Good work. RACE END!

Love the syntho kettle drum

So at first I was like. More future tech music cool. Then the kettle drums kicked in. Then they died out. I blinked. That was so cool wait, Defcon Summer, come back. Those kettle drum hits really made the summer part of the song. Kinda wish there was more in there. But the song is still a defcon and I can't simply rate based on what I would have liked. For a defcon techno it was great. Wished it was longer. Sadly I now have a song that I can't place in any of my archs that I like, and a fever, and the only perscription... is more syntho kettle drum? Okat sorry, that was really corny.

Guess it's how I review

Okay, this title I take very seriously. After the second arch finishes and our heroes are moving foreward, this is exactly the kinda thing that plays in the looking back part. The story that woud otherwise be left untold. The simple piano only makes for a soft and easy listen while scenes and explinations go by. Talk of the peace that has finally come to the land that they have just liberated ends though around 2:05 when the sad truth is told. Peace can only last so long. And eventually a new attack has made it so that the newly earned peace is now gone. Our heroes, already gone and off taking care of their next objective, with no way of returning, can do nothing, and possibly don't know that bitter truth.
Touching and sad. You've done the original justice in my mind. Thanx for the inspiration. And leave no story untold.

Here I go again

Okay so remember those suits from my Dr.Waldo review of Relief. They're getting there test run here. See in the original this was more BGM music. This has cutscene potential. The guitar has a tiny bit too much awkward distortion at points, but when it solos, dang. The characters can really start unloading. Just realized while I was writing this that this is not the original. Still sounds good. As I said before you take it from a simple BGM that sets mood and make it the driving force of the scene. As I've said before, you retain enough of the original song that it's a remix but both of you make it your own in a way that makes them primary candidates for the future tech archs.

Here's how I see it

So our heroes are in the future in the test lab facility. They're being brought up to speed about the latest in technological weaponry and the current situation in this dire rebellion. The new M.E.C.H. Suits are ready for testing. Their blueprints and stats are being displayed on an on screen computer. They are told that it links to them like hyper enhanced armor. A sort of internal Soul wavelength will be established. As the chimes ting in, they are being told that they will be customized to each individuals personality, fighting style, and shape. This will mean when damage is taken to the suit, they will feel what the suit feels, Eureka 7 style, etc. As it draws to a close each hero accepts these terms and finishes their tests and scans. The last note is them approaching the newly customized M.E.C.H. Suits.
Doubt this is helpful but any song that projects a scene that vivid in my mind is that good. I have this in a playlist for my story, book four. The future arch. New Nova. Come to think of it alot of your and Zero-Resurrected's works are in that playlist arch. lol
