You killed off one of my characters
And I love you for it. Here's why I prefer your original. Our heroes are preparing the take on the blackhole citadel. They're all suited up and in their fighters. Think arwing like. The fierce space fire fight before them looks daunting. With a seasoned veteran captain barking commands from her fighter they begin the surge towards the citadel. She's the latest recruit to the original group of heroes. All the while thoughts of what's occured plauge the main character. Piano breakdown, evasive manuveres and memories. Guitar kicks back in, skilled takedowns and shots. A song that can play bgm and still take lead as the scenes driving force. It seems the squad is getting the upperhand and the citadel is in their sights. The fight builds, intensifying. Generals on the other side are being taken down left and right. Then the unthinkable happens at 5:28. The now crippled and exposed citadel releases a pulsar wave in all directions, rendering our heroes powerless. No weapons no thrusters. Dead in the water. Only one heroe's ship has enough juice to boost foreward. At 5:56 he decides to do it. His friends and the main character call out to him to stop. It's not worth it. The main character curses out to him in vain. At 6:19 he boosts foreward with enough power to hit the weakend citadel. The echo out is the sound accompaning the explosion of his ship and the citadel. The violent reaction triggers the blackhole that the citadel was using to destory the rebellion space stations. Everyone is drawn in. Fade to white.
